WE CAN begin and end anywhere, wrote Josef Jedlicka. So here I am, in a little wooden booth in a corner of the park, with dogs and baby humans being led and pushed past me as I type. The man in Best Buy said it didn't depend on my Roku so much as on our router, so I held off on making a purchase. Public space is a valuable and undervalued common good. So this booth with the typewriter in it makes me happy. Thank you, Poetry Society of New York!
